1908

Wilhelm Langendorf founded the company in Wuppertal. In the early days, it manufactured shoelaces.

1948

Relocation of the company headquarters to Upper Franconia. By this time, the product portfolio included lace, braided trimmings and elastic trimmings.

1980

Langendorf Textil began to develop technical textiles, mainly for the automotive industry.

1998

Local group of investors under the leadership of the Buenger group of companies takes over Langendorf.

2005

Foundation of Cleartec Water Management GmbH for waste water purification with biotextiles.

2008

Foundation of Langendorf Textil Slowakia s.r.o. in Michalovce.
