Initial Situation

The installation of cable and wire harnesses was very time-consuming. During installation, connectors and clips were ripped off, increasing rejects.  

Solution

In cooperation with an OEM, Langendorf developed the installation and threading aid Lango®flex M, which

• fixes the harness,
• prevents connectors and clips from coming off, and
• substantially improves the installation time.  

Result 

• Installation time was considerably optimised.
• Connectors and clips were protected against mechanical strain.
• Rejects due to damaged harnesses were drastically reduced.
