In invasive surgery, fascial defects require long-term strengthening of damaged structures.

Solution

Lango®med has been developed together with a well-known provider of surgical sutures. It is a knitted mesh implant made from polypropylene monofilaments. Its special structure furnishes a porous, yet strong implant, which remains in the body and strengthens damaged structures on a long-term basis. Moreover, it can be cut to size without fraying.

The implant has been knitted by us, the sterilisation and final make-up has been done by our partner.

Result

Damaged structures are strengthened and backed on a long-term basis. The synthetic, non-absorbable polypropylene monofilament shows stable strength and stability over a long period of time.
