LANGOtube C – HTS is a thick-walled braided fibreglass sleeve with a thick and temperature resistant silicone rubber coating. This specialized structure offers good isolation properties, high abrasion resistance and a great elasticity and flexibility.
Applications for Lango®tube C-HTS
- Protection against radiant heat (e. g. engine compartment, exhaust system)
- Protection against molden metal splashes, sparks, fire (e. g. foundries, glass factories)
- Protection against burns (e. g. steam, hot water, hot oil pipes, EGR system)
- Protection against heat loss
Properties
- High temperature resistant components protection
- Less transfer of heat
- Operating temperature: temporarly up to 1.200°C
- Non-flammable, resists liquid molten metal splashes and flame bursts
- Good abrasion resistance
